The event was dominated by club champion, Barry Doolan, who returned his eight-fish bag limit and secured the last cast trophy.

He was closely trailed by George Gemmell (Sr), who also tallied a full bag of the loch's wild brown trout.

George Martin notched up third place with his eight-fish bag limit.

Neil McDowell secured the fourth place, catching five of the loch's brown trout, while Henry Harrison returned two brown trout, one of which was the heaviest for the competition, just under 1lb.
