GLENPARK is set to host two matches this weekend as two sides look to continue their unbeaten league form.
Greenock Cricket Club's second string, known as Glenpark, hope to continue their fine league form as they welcome Galloway to Inverclyde on Saturday.
Unbeaten in the league throughout the first half of the season, the Glenparkers sit joint top of the Western Championship Three, alongside Mearns Challengers, who've played two games more.
Team captain Eddie Ahmad has been a key player for the side and is the team’s top run scorer.
Last Saturday, against Kilmarnock 2ndXI, he built a fine partnership of 101 runs for the third wicket along with Usman Mansoor which put the team well on the road to the innings total of 203 for 9.
That proved too great for the visitors as they stormed to a 134 run victory.

The action continues on Sunday when Greenock’s third string, Hillend, host Irvine Spartans at Glenpark.
In the Sunday League, the team’s record is 'played one and won one', the victory coming against Uddingston in mid-June - a result which has put them at the top of Sunday League Division Two even though they've only played a single fixture.
Their 24-run victory in Lanarkshire and it keeps them ahead of LOC Hire Stenhousemuir, despite registering a no result in their league opener against GHK Crow Road.
