MEMBERS of Fort Matilda Bowling Club have brought down the curtain on their centenary year with the presentation of all their trophies and awards for the 2025 season.
A packed outdoor season saw the club’s gents’ section compete for eight pieces of silverware, while the ladies did battle for nine more – while the busy summer fixture list also included seven mixed competitions.
The club’s members marked the milestone with a special centenary dinner at Greenock Wanderers Rugby Club in June, and in October they were treated to a civic reception organised by Inverclyde Council and attended by Provost Drew McKenzie to celebrate their hundred years.
As for the action on the green, this year’s winners were as follows.
