MORTON boss Dougie Imrie hopes he won't be on the end of many more weekends as bad as the one which saw his side crash 3-0 at home to Arbroath.

The boss says he wants to put that right by beating Partick Thistle when they come to Cappielow this weekend.

He told the Tele: “There’s no point dwelling on it, we’ve got another 32 games to go and make up for it and have a successful season.

“Dont get me wrong, it hurts.

"I hope there are not too many more days like this going forward in the season ahead.

“The games are coming round thick and fast, we welcome Partick to Cappielow this weekend, the first of two home games on the bounce, and we want to get back to winning ways.

“It’ll be another tough game because Partick look like they’re picking up now.

“We need to play to the best of our abilities.

“We have to be better than what we were against Arbroath and we’ll be on at the players during the week to make sure that’s the case.”
