A SEASON that started so promisingly has reached rock bottom as we find ourselves rooted to the bottom of the Championship.
We need an urgent upturn in both performances and results, otherwise the drop to League One will become a reality.
On Saturday I actually thought we played really well in the first half and did not deserve to go in at half time a goal down.
But unfortunately the team were booed off the park by sections of our support.
By the end of the 90 minutes it was very difficult to argue with the even louder condemnation from a large section of our support as all we did was huff and puff our way to defeat.
We now have a massive game away to Queen's Park next weekend and hopefully history can repeat itself with an away win leading to an unbeaten run similar to what we achieved last season.
At the moment with the total lack of confidence evident within the team it is getting more and more difficult to actually believe that this current team can emulate last season’s, but one thing is for sure we do need to somehow get a unity and bond back between the supporters and the staff.
It was evident at the end of Saturday’s game that some supporters were turning on both the players and the manager and that is never a good sign, so the sooner we get back to winning ways the better or that bond that Dougie Imrie managed to achieve will once again be broken.
