LEWIS Strapp has returned to Morton on a short-term deal until the end of January.
The Ton youth academy graduate is no stranger to Morton fans, having spent 11 years at the club.
The left-back rose through the ranks at Cappielow after joining the Ton's youth academy upon its inception in 2012 and became a first team stalwart and fans favourite after breaking into the top team in 2019.
He left the club at the end of the 2022/23 season, after being informed that he wasn't a part of Ton chief Dougie Imrie's long term plans.
The 24-year-old has made over 140 appearances for the Ton and re-joins today ahead of an important run of fixtures heading into the New Year.
The club have confirmed that the defender will wear the number three shirt.
With full back Calum Waters set to miss tomorrow's trip to Gayfield, Strapp could be thrown straight in at the deep end, subject to SFA registration.
