ROBBIE Crawford believes Morton are lucky to have such good strikers after Robbie Muirhead and George Oakley's stunning recent hat-trick exploits.

As well as the quantity, Crawford is keen to highlight the quality of their super six strikes against Ayr and Dundee United.

He told the Tele: “Both Robbie and Geo are flying. I’m delighted for them and they’ve taken the quality of their goals to a new level.

“Hopefully that can continue to breed confidence through the side.

“George’s second finish was a joke last week. I think it surprised the majority of Tannadice when the ball went into the net, even myself.

“He opened his foot right up and caught everyone out. At the time I was wondering if it was an own goal.

“But he knew exactly what he was doing, he’s got that quality. The goalkeeper tried to gamble and cover his far post, which is fair enough, but George got his foot on it and cushioned it in.

"To then go and score that brilliant third was unbelievable.”
