MORTON midfielder Alan Power insists he and his team-mates won't get carried away by their shock Scottish Cup win over Motherwell.

Ton looked dead and buried at the bottom of the Championship table little over two months ago, but a 13-game unbeaten run has seen them surge into the promotion play-off places and book themselves a place in the Scottish Cup last eight.

Power also says he was delighted with the quality of the performance against top flight opposition.

He told the Tele: "I thought during the game we were relatively comfortable.

"We defended well and we put the ball into good areas.

"I don't think it was just a fight from us, our goals were really high quality, so there was some good bits to our play.

"What we can't do off the back of it is get too carried away, we need to be at it every game.

"Everyone wrote us off at the start of the season and we're happy for them to keep doing that. We'll take each game as it comes and see how that goes."
