MORTON skipper Grant Gillespie says his side must stick together as they look to avoid a fifth loss on the spin when Dunfermline come to Cappielow this Saturday.

The experienced midfielder insists that the belief is still there within the four walls of the Cappielow dressing room.

The playmaker is adamant his side have all the capabilities of going on another run of good form between now and the end of the season to make the play-offs.

He told the Tele: "We've got to keep our heads up now. We can't let them drop.

"We went through a sticky patch at the start of the season and then we managed to go on a run that saw us sitting three points off of third place in the league.

"We've just got to keep believing in each other and working hard on the training pitch. We know we've got the capabilities to go and put another unbeaten run of results together.

"We need to try and kick that off with a good result against Dunfermline at home this Saturday and keep working hard.

"We're creating chances, we just need to get back to putting them away."
