INVERCLYDE'S Tartan Army are being advised to plan ahead before making the journey to Hampden for Tuesday's friendly against Northern Ireland.
ScotRail has warned passengers that services will be busier than usual.
Supporters using the trains are urged to allow additional time for travel. Queuing systems will be in place at Glasgow Central before the 7.45pm kick off and at Mount Florida after the game.
To reduce the need to queue, customers are encouraged to buy their return tickets in advance from via the ScotRail app.
Phil Campbell, ScotRail customer operations director, said: “We’re looking forward to helping fans travel by train to watch the Scotland men’s national team play Northern Ireland at Hampden on Tuesday night.
“We’re adding more services and extra carriages to trains between Glasgow Central and Mount Florida to help supporters travel to and from the match, and we’ll have additional staff on hand to help you.”
