GREENOCK Morton Women have announced a new partnership with a local business that will see the brand become the main sponsor of the team.
The two-year deal with Clyde Eats comes at the start of a new era for the women’s side after their transition to the football club's management from Morton in the Community earlier this summer.
Cappielow bosses said they were ‘delighted’ to form a new link with the brand, which allows locals to order food from nearby restaurants and takeaways straight to their door.
Dale Pryde-MacDonald, general manager of Greenock Morton, said: “I am delighted to be working so closely with Janine, Allan and the team at Clyde Eats.
“They are passionate about football and the club, and we are really aligned in how we want to support the development of women’s football.”
Janine Brennan of Clyde Eats added: “We are delighted to be back sponsoring Morton Women’s Football Team for the 24/25 season.
“Supporting local talent in Inverclyde is what we’re all about, and this partnership is a perfect fit with our core values: serve, save, support.”
“We can’t wait to cheer on the team and see them achieve great things this season.”
