ROONEY - Ian It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ian (John) Rooney, on 19th March 2024, after a short illness, in the tender care of Bagatelle. Ian was a much loved brother, brother in law, uncle, and good friend to many. Funeral Service will take place at Greenock Crematorium on Thursday 4th April 2024 commencing at 12 noon, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

I only started working with Ian for 6 months before he passed away but in that short time I saw why people loved him. Every time I got the opportunity to work with him, he would brighten my day. He didn't speak much but we were able to communicate without words and he would have me laughing throughout my shift. And I now have a new found love for Elvis films.
Rest in Peace Ian. I was a pleasure to have met with you, supported you and laugh with you xox
