MORTON striker Brian Wake is delighted that his manager’s faith in him is paying off. The English forward took a while to settle after arriving towards the end of last season from Hamilton Accies, but four goals in the crucial closing games, as the team fought to stay out of the relegation play-off place, turned him into a hero of the fans.
