MOTORISTS on the A8 are being warned about flooding after heavy rain this morning.
Water has gathered on both westbound lanes at the railway bridge by Langbank, causing drivers to brake suddenly.
One driver told the Tele that the conditions were 'an accident waiting to happen', while there are also problems at Cartsburn.
Traffic is also currently heavily tailed back from Port Glasgow town centre into Greenock, with traffic down to one lane by Bogston.
Flooding has also been reported at the back of Bogston train station.
