STAFF, residents and their families have hailed an open day at Belleaire House care home as a great success.
Visitors, including local MP Ronnie Cowan and MSP Stuart McMillan found out out a bit more about the Newark Street facility.
They were then entertained by Cedars School of Excellence senior choir and enjoyed a barbecue outside. Activities co-ordinator Jaswinder Kaur said: “It was a great success. We’ve received thank you cards from people saying they had a lovely day and lovely food.
“It’s all been very positive from the MP and MSP, residents and families.
“It gave visitors an idea of what we do at Belleaire.”
