THE Oak Mall shopping centre is not expected to reopen today after being flooded during the storm which hit Inverclyde overnight.
A mopping-up operation has been under way all day to clear up the damage
The Mall said: "Oak Mall shopping centre staff and retailer staff have been progressing well with their efforts to re-open, however it is unlikely that the centre will re-open today.
"Once the centre is ready to re-open its doors to the public we will annouce this."
The centre apologised to customers and issued a thank-you to 'all staff for your hard work'.
