PASSENGERS from cruise ship Marco Polo were greeted to glorious sunshine as they arrived in Greenock yesterday – the first of three vessels in as many days.
The 800 capacity vessel, run by Cruise & Maritime Voyages, docked at Ocean Terminal at around 8am.
She arrived from Tobermory on the final stop of a seven-day journey around the Scottish isles and the Faroes.
Marco Polo left shortly after 6pm last night en route to Lerwick.
She will return to Greenock next Friday from Bergen in Norway before heading to Liverpool.
Her arrival yesterday kicked off a run of three stop-offs in as many days.
Regular visitor, the 3,142 capacity Caribbean Princess, arrived at around 7am this morning and tomorrow is the turn of Seven Seas Voyager, which can hold up to 700 passengers.
