CREATIVE kids joined their families for some festive fun at their Christmas craft day.
The little ones at Gibshill Children’s Centre enjoyed making their own cards, calendars, wreaths and decorations as part of the art inspired event.
As well as crafts, the wee one also made healthy festive snacks including banana and strawberry Santas.
Craig Scott, who is the depute head at the centre, said it’s great to see the children having fun alongside their families.
He said: “We do this every year and we invite the parents along too.
“It’s gives them a wee idea of what is going on in the nursery and what the children are learning about.
“I would like to thank all the parents for giving up their time to come along and support it.
“We always have a really good turn out from the parents and their families.”
Lilias Fry, whose grandson Noah attends the nursery, also came along to teach the children how to create festive food.
She said: “It’s great to teach the children how to make healthy Christmas snacks.”
