TEENY toe tappers impressed everyone with their fancy footwork during a special hip-hop class.

The little ones at Aileymill Nursery took a step in the right direction as they moved to the beat under the guidance of expert teacher Lisa More.

Kay Anderson, who is the lead practitioner at the nursery, said the tots loved the classes.

She said: “Lisa from Graffiti Dance Troupe has been coming in fortnightly to teach the children hip-hop dance.

“They decided to put on a wee display so their parents could see what they’ve been learning.

“It was great and the Easter bunny even came along for a boogie and the Aileymill primary one pupils also took part.”

Parents and grandparents looked on with pride as the wee ones completed dance routines they’ve learned at the workshops.

Kay says the classes have many benefits for the children.

She said: “It helps their co-ordination and builds up their confidence and self-esteem.”
