ONLOOKERS watched as police rushed to a main road in Gourock this afternoon after reports of a violent disturbance.
Several police vehicles and an ambulance rushed to Shore Street, near the former Albert Hotel, around 3pm.
Officers were seen standing beside a man who was sitting on a bench near the bridge over the railway line.
An ambulance was also called to the scene.
Police say they were called following reports of two men fighting.
They added that one of the men had sustained injuries, the nature of which have not as yet been specified.
