New Beacon play ‘Our Fathers’ is family affair
ACTORS are keeping it in the family for an interactive new play in Greenock tomorrow exploring the relationship between fathers and sons.
‘Our Fathers’ is on at the Beacon at 8pm.
It’s inspired by Edmund Gosse’s 1907 book ‘Father and Son’, which tells the story of the author’s upbringing as the only child of evangelical Christians in Victorian England.
As the performance unfolds, the audience will be invited to contribute by commenting on the story and talking about experiences of their own in dialogue with the performers.
