A MAN has been arrested accused of brandishing an iron bar in a Greenock street.
The 40-year-old is also accused of a breach of the peace and resisting arrest.
He was detained by police following an incident in Roxburgh Street in the early hours of this morning.
Sergeant Kayley Teasdale of Greenock police said: "At about 12.20am this morning, a 40-year-old male was arrested for allegedly brandishing an iron bar in Roxburgh Street in Greenock.
"He is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court tomorrow."
