A GREENOCK teenager has appeared at the town's sheriff court charged with attempted murder.
Leonard Cole, 19, has been remanded in custody after making no plea through lawyer Aidan Gallagher.
It is alleged that he attempted to murder a 20-year-old during an alleged disturbance on Union Street on Saturday afternoon.
A man was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries after being allegedly struck with a bladed weapon near the McLean Museum.
The case against Cole has been committed for further examination and he is due back in court on the matter next week.
