TWO luxury superyachts were welcomed into Greenock.
Archimedes, which measures 68 metres in length, and 38-metre long Monaco both sailed into James Watt Dock Marina.
Monaco arrived in Greenock from Gibraltar while Archimedes travelled across the Atlantic from the United States.
Graeme Galbraith, marina manager, said: “We’re always pleased to welcome vessels like these and we’re becoming known for looking after superyachts when they come to Scotland.
“Our marketing director was out in Monaco at the superyacht show earlier this year and did a lot of marketing there for vessels to come here and a lot are also coming here through word of mouth.”
Monaco is expected to stay until July 7 while Archimedes arrived on Friday morning and is due to depart on July 9, although both vessels could return to the marina at a later date.
They will set sail from Greenock to cruise the west coast.
