A NEW extension to the playpark in Birkmyre Park in Kilmacolm is now open in time for the summer holidays.
Council leader Stephen McCabe welcomed the extension which is part of a £60,000 raft of improvements.
This includes extra seating and new picnic tables, wildflower displays and additional tree planting.
