TODAY the Telegraph offers you a further stroll into the district's past as we take a look at scenes that have dramatically changed since yesteryear.
Greenock's Jamaica Street is a part of the town that has undergone a considerable transformation since the 1960s.
Dalrymple Street of a bygone age was a very different scene from how the main road area looks today.
Gibshill of the early 1970s looks like a completely different place compared with the same location in 2023.
East Hamilton Street in the 1990s, and below the same point of view on the street today.
We'll be back with a further dose of pictorial nostalgia again next week.
