Tele photographer George Munro picks his photos of the week

Pic1: Although Prospecthill Court in Greenock sticks out like a sore thumb as it is now stripped of its cladding, River Clyde Homes bosses have revealed the building is undergoing a transformation that will convert it into a state-of-the-art block of dwellings with reduced heating costs and ultra-modern thermal windows. 

Pic2: The musically talented pupils of St Ninian's Primary in Gourock entertained a school hall packed full of delighted family and friends with a morning of Scots song. This pic shows just some of the young songsters as they performed on stage. 

Pic3: Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar got busy with his ladle when he joined Councillor Martin McCluskey to help serve up welcome bowls of soup at Auchmountain Halls in Greenock. On his visit, Mr Sarwar also served up a scathing attack on the Scottish Government on job losses and lack of support offered to local councils. 

Pic4: I joined Ronnie Cowan MP as he fulfilled his ambition to be a DJ when he joined the team at Clyde Coast Radio.

The station, based at Devol Industrial Estate In Port Glasgow, used a National Lottery grant to set up their base at the Trust Port Glasgow Business Training Centre and enjoys a growing listenership across the globe.
