FIREFIGHTERS were called to Greenock early this morning following reports of a vehicle fire.
The incident took place on Ingleston Street shortly after 6:30am.
Images show a burnt out Skoda Octavia wedged between fences lining the pavement.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service: "We received a call at 6:39am to a car on fire.
"Control mobilised one appliance."
