SUZUKI'S fourth-generation Swift supermini goes on sale in April.
Its new 1.2 mild-hybrid engine is claimed to be up to eight per cent more efficient than its predecessor.
Available in new Motion and Ultra trim levels, manual versions of the Motion have a combined cycles economy rating of 64.2mpg and emit just 99g/km.
Visual changes include a new tailgate design and an integrated rear hatch spoiler and boot side spoilers.
Priced from £18,699, Suzuki expect the Motion to be the volume seller. It is packed with kit.
Standard Motion features include navigation, air conditioning, heated front seats, rear parking sensors and camera, and blind spot warning and rear traffic cross alert.
Additional features of the Ultra, which costs from £19,799, include automatic air conditioning, rear heating outlet and electrically folding door mirrors.
Continuously variable transmission (CVT) versions of the Motion and Ultra cost £19,949 and £21,049 respectively.
The Ultra manual will be available with ALLGRIP Auto four-wheel drive later in the year.
Suzuki GB are celebrating 40 years of the Swift, one of the most reliable small cars you can buy.
