THE trial of a man accused of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at a Greenock care home has been pushed back.
Bruce Black, 61, is charged with shouting, swearing, uttering threats of violence and refusing to leave when requested at Larkfield View Care Home on December 3 last year.
He was due to stand trial at Greenock Sheriff Court on Thursday, but the hearing was delayed as a result of two police witnesses having not yet been cited.
The fiscal depute said: “That is an error on the part of my office.
“I will ensure they are cited on the next occasion.”
Black, of Rothesay, will return to court for trial on May 22.
