A GREENOCK man has been charged with committing a cocaine possession drug offence in the town.
Prosecutors say Mark Allan, 50, of the Inverclyde Centre, had the class A drug on his person while on Newton Street on January 26.
It is claimed that Allan committed the alleged offence while on bail.
The matter has been continued without plea and is set to call again at Greenock Sheriff Court on May 10.
