RIVERSIDE Gardens residents celebrated the Queen’s birthday with some royal events.
Gourock Pensioners’ organiser Jim Hunter organised a regal lunch at the sheltered housing complex.
Residents turned up in tiaras and then made their way to a show at the Beacon Arts Centre, where the Earl of Wessex is Patron.
Jim said: “It was a great day, everybody had fun and the
visit to the Beacon was just brilliant.”
The pensioners enjoyed the fantastic Memory Lane: the Ultimate Feel Good Show.
Now Riverside Gardens have a lot to live up to when the Queen’s official birthday comes around in June.
