RESURFACING work is continuing on one of Gourock’s busiest roads as part of a major town centre revamp.
Kempock Street will see disruption for another week or so. Councillor Michael McCormick, environment and regeneration convener, said: “Drivers and visitors are urged to take note of the temporary parking restrictions and the additional spaces which will be available in Lower Kempock Street during this short period.” The resurfacing is part of the local authority’s £5.2m redevelopment of Gourock, which includes a redesign of spaces at each end of Kempock Street.
