GREENOCK’S Beacon Arts Centre has gone blue and white in honour of Morton.
The waterfront venue is lit up in the colours of the Cappielow club ahead of a run of comedy drama ‘Mon Eh Ton!’ next month.
The new play looks at the history of Morton from its formation in 1874 right up to the present day and all the highs and lows along the way.
It runs from September 14-16 and is written and produced by Gourock playwright David Carswell, from GIP Theatre Company.
There will also be a Morton exhibition running alongside the play.
David said: “Preparations for the show and exhibition are going well.
“Rehearsals are now in full flow and we will have an exciting announcement regarding the exhibition in the very near future.”
The Tele has teamed up with GIP to give away TWO pairs of tickets to see the show.
