TOMMY ‘The Clown’ Armstrong of Greenock has raised hundreds of pounds to help an athlete take part in next year’s Commonwealth Para-Games on Australia’s Gold Coast.
Partially sighted cyclist Fraser Kane of Largs is training hard for the event.
The big-hearted Greenockian collected £300 for Fraser by fundraising at the recent Largs Viking Festival, and will present the cheque to his mum, Karen Jenson.
Fraser is the brother of silver medal Paralympics swimmer Abby Kane, who previously received £1,000 from Tommy.
Tommy has also raised £160 for Cancer Research by taking part in the Great Scottish Run 10k and at his collecting stance on West Blackhall Street.
