GREENOCK Rotary Club raised hundreds of pounds for good causes at their annual quiz night in the Ardgowan Club.
Twenty teams from around Inverclyde fought it out during a light-hearted evening of fun, tackling questions on a variety of topics.
Rotary spokesperson Bob Burns said: “The head scratching was halted in the middle of the evening for a very welcome buffet, produced by one of the members Lynne Chambers, with help from Gillian Chambers and Sandra Kimpton.
“A raffle was also held in the interval to help to raise a little more money.”
The clear winner was a team from Royal Gourock Yacht Club, pictured.
Bob said: “They will hold the trophy for the next 12 months, when, hopefully, they will return to defend it!”
He added: “A fun night was had by all, and more than £800 was raised for Rotary charities – overall, a most successful event.”
