A MAN aged 34 is facing a robbery charge following an alleged early morning raid at a house in Greenock’s Kelly Street.
It is alleged that the 23-year-old householder was accosted in his own home just before 5am yesterday.
Police say that the intruder demanded money from him at knifepoint before the householder fought him off.
The robber is said to have fled with bank cards from the property.
He is expected to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court tomorrow.
