BUDDING boffins got it down to a science when they attended a school show.
The youngsters from seven local nurseries and primary schools joined pupils at Notre Dame High School for its annual science fair recently. Throughout the fun-filled day, the children learned all about science and watched various experiments.
Councillor Martin Brennan said: “Two of my grandchildren attended the event and they were thrilled.
“My daughter told me that it was quite excellent and the pupils from Notre Dame and its associated primaries were real ambassadors for their schools.” Notre Dame High School welcomed children from their ‘feeder’ schools, including All Saints, St Mary’s and St Patrick’s as well as little ones from Glenbrae Children’s Centre, Hillend Children’s Centre, Blairmore Nursery School and Wellpark Children’s Centre.
