WELLPARK Mid Kirk will host a unique concert tomorrow night – featuring ‘Rockin’ Rev’ Alan Sorensen!
The minister has teamed up with Paul Baird of Celtic rock band The Electrics to perform as the Elderly Brothers.
Having performed before as an Everly Brothers tribute, the duo have now branched out to perform a selection of feelgood classics.
The show’s big draw is acclaimed international duo Sweet Sorrows. Husband and wife team Sammy and Kylie Horner have been building a strong fanbase with their acoustic tunes.
The concert also sees The Electrics get back together. Sammy was a founder member along with Paul Baird, and they are joined by drummer Davie McArthur and multi-instrumentalist Allan Hewitt. The band toured the UK, Europe and the USA extensively for a number of years and this will be their first gig in five years.
