A PORT firm has landed a £300,000 refurbishment contract and taken on two extra workers.
AGM Group, based at the Kingston Industrial Estate, will carry out work across 12 Superdrug stores across Scotland.
They scooped the lucrative deal based on their track record in previous shop fit-out projects.
Andrew Meek, AGM managing director, said: “We have worked on various Superdrug projects over the last two years and being awarded this contract is testament to the standards we set and what we can deliver.” The firm currently employs 10 members of staff and is taking on two additional workers to help complete the work. Andy Lloyd of AS Watson, which owns Superdrug, said: “In 2013, AGM Group has proved to be one of our most reliable shop-fitting contractors, delivering top quality results on refits and new stores. We look forward to working closely with them as part of our 2014 programme.”
