PUPILS at Wemyss Bay Primary were far from sheepish as they staged a successful nativity play.
The pint-sized performers shone on stage with ‘Hey Ewe’, their fun version of the Christmas story.
Nursery children and primary one and two pupils all threw themselves into the show, much to the delight of a packed audience.
Head teacher Elaine Montgomery said: “It was a sell-out show. It was a good atmosphere and it all added to the Christmas spirit.
“The children had been rehearsing for a few weeks to put on a good Christmas show.”
Thrilled parents, grandparents, and friends flocked to see the nativity, showing their appreciation with rapturous applause.
Mrs Montgomery said: “Parents and grandparents all love to see the show.
“We are very proud of the children.”
