Lynn Anderson, of LJ Dance Troupe, said: "Each year we pick a charity that helps children who are not as fortunate as our own and this year we picked Dreams Come True Inverclyde and are delighted to have raised the sum of £725.
“The funds are raised with the help of our parents and a raffle and we are very grateful to local Inverkip, Gourock and Greenock businesses which have helped by way of providing raffle prizes.”
Chris Jewell, local co-ordinator for the charity, was swift to praise the group for their kind donation.
He said: “ We are very grateful to LJ Dance raising such a large sum to help more dreams come true.
“We are keen for as many youngsters as we can aged 2-21 in Inverclyde with life limiting medical conditions to benefit from a dream and we would encourage nominations for a dream through the Dreams Come True website https://protect-eu.mimecast.com/s/oDnnBcpam2KFd or through our Dreams Come True Inverclyde Facebook page.
