“The funds are raised with the help of our parents and a raffle and we are very grateful to local Inverkip, Gourock and Greenock businesses which have helped by way of providing raffle prizes.”

Chris Jewell, local co-ordinator for the charity, was swift to praise the group for their kind donation.

He said: “ We are very grateful to LJ Dance raising such a large sum to help more dreams come true.

“We are keen for as many youngsters as we can aged 2-21 in Inverclyde with life limiting medical conditions to benefit from a dream and we would encourage nominations for a dream through the Dreams Come True website or through our Dreams Come True Inverclyde Facebook page.
