GREENOCK’S George Square has a new road system but today’s photograph from the 1960s shows when it had a roundabout.
Of the three places of worship pictured, George Square Congregational Church, left, is now Greenock West United Reformed Church, George Square Baptist Church, centre, has become a dance studio and what was then St George’s Church is disused.
The property on the east side of Bubblyjock’s Brae was demolished in 1969.
