With three goals and one assist in four appearances against the Palmerston Park outfit, Johnstone has been the hammer of the Doonhamers since signing on loan for Morton.
The Dumfries-born 20-year-old played for Queens as a youth, following in the footsteps of his great-grandfather Bobby Black, but he admits the tongue in cheek requests have fallen on deaf ears.
Speaking to the Tele, he laughed: “With three goals and an assist, I don’t mind playing against Queen of the South as often as we have.
“The funny thing is, I’ve always got family members getting in touch with me after the game, saying: ‘Oh come on, give us a break. You didn’t have to do it against us, your hometown [club].’ “But that doesn’t bother me!”
