MORTON fans will be able to buy briefs for tomorrow’s clash with Hibernian at Easter Road right up until kick-off.

Tickets will be on sale from 1pm from a ticket pod outside the South Stand, and the Ton support will be housed in the west side of the South Stand where they will enter Easter Road via turnstiles five and six.

Supporters have been reminded that this weekend marks the final week of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which could potentially add time to travelling fans’ journeys.

Admission prices are: adults - £22, concessions - £12.

A statement posted on gmfc.net said: “Tickets will be on sale from a ticket pod outside the South Stand from 1pm, with a swipe entry system in operation. Hibs have a strict search policy in place at every game.

“Wheelchair users and attendants have an acceptable entry gate at the South Stand. Morton supporters travelling by road note that roadworks at the Baillieston to Newhouse M8/A8 improvement upgrade have the potential to add time to journeys to and from Edinburgh.

“In addition, all travelling supporters are reminded that this is the final weekend of the Edinburgh Festival and the last performances of the Military Tattoo.

“This period has traditionally seen the highest attendance, and routes into Edinburgh are expected to be carrying higher than average traffic volumes.

“Edinburgh City Council have also introduced new 20mph speed limits throughout the city and several around the Easter Road and Leith area in particular. Cameras are in use for the new speed limits. Bus parking has been identified in London Road, from where it is a short walk to the stadium.

“Car parking is available on streets outwith any restricted areas. Please check signs and cones.

“Edinburgh parking attendants are known for issuing tickets and this area is well patrolled on match days.”
