MORTON'S friendly with Cardiff City has been cancelled.
Ray McKinnon's men were due to face the Premier League outfit on Tuesday at Cappielow.
However, Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock said on social media this morning that he was concerned over injuries to Morton's squad and didn't want his side to face a weakened outfit.
Warnock said: "Unfortunately, Greenock have been struggling with injuries and I didn’t want us to go there and face anything less than what we’d consider as being a strong first-team eleven."
