WANDERERS are hosting league leaders Garnock tomorrow with the visitors making the short trip to Fort Matilda from Beith.

The visitors are unbeaten so far this season, having had wins over Strathmore, Whitecraigs and Ross High.

They were promoted from West 1 last year after going undefeated for the whole of last season.

It is a few years since Wanderers have played Garnock, who have been stuffy opponents in the past.

The home side, currently bottom of the league with no wins, therefore have a difficult task in front of them.

Wanderers came close in their first two games and will be looking for a fast start against Garnock.

Team selection is still to be made as there were a number of injuries last week and a couple of players are unavailable this week.

Whatever the selection, Wanderers will have to play at their best to get anything from the game.

But they are very capable of turning the season around with the young side gaining more experience with every game.

Elsewhere at Fort Matilda on Saturday the Wee Wandies will be playing between 10am and 11am.

The men's 2nd XV V Strathendrick is a 3pm kick-off.

There will also be a pre-match lunch at 12:30pm to raise funds for Inverclyde Music Festival.

Sunday: Minis v Helensburgh - (A) 10:30am KO; U15s come and try session (Dunoon 11am - 12pm; U13s / U14s training 12pm; U16s V Cartha / Cambuslang (A); Women's 2nd XV Aspiring League (H) 12pm KO; Women's 1st XV v West of Scotland (H) 2pm KO.

The Women's 1st XV are sitting third in West 1 and will be looking for a better performance than last week when they drew with bottom club Annan.
