Greenock parkrun, event number 416, September 23

Fourteen were first timers (including five runners taking part in their first ever 5k parkrun). Nine recorded new personal bests and representatives of 11 different clubs took part.

There were two milestones this week, with both Stephen Reid and Kevin Clark completing their 250th parkruns.

Next week is the monthly breakfast and pacer event. Parkrun is looking for pacers for most times. If you can help out, contact either by email or Facebook. There will be post-run 'chat and munch' at The Lyle Kirk on Union Street.
