Greenock parkrun, event number 419, 21st October 21

A TOTAL of 100 people ran, jogged and walked the course, ten of whom were first timers (including one runner taking part in his first ever 5k parkrun) and 17 recorded new PBs.

Representatives of ten different clubs took part, including runners from different athletic clubs in England.

A number of runners and volunteers achieved milestones this week. David Comerford completed his 50th parkrun and Jamie Cotterill and Rhys Jones, both with new PBs, their 25th. Richard Newsome volunteered for the 25th time and Iain McKenzie for the 50th time.

Paul Monaghan (17:27) was first of the runners to complete the course. He was followed by Stephen Hanley (18:10) and Paul McAulay (18:18).

For the first time, Evie Harrison was first of the ladies to finish (22:13). She was followed by Nicola Falconer (23:16) and Lesley Weber (23:30).
