Greenock parkrun, event number 420, October 28

THE Halloween and pacer event saw 92 people either running, jogging or walking the course.

Of these, 11 were first-timers including four runners who were taking part in their first ever parkrun, and four runners recorded new PBs. Representatives of 12 different clubs took part.

There was one milestone this week, with Emma Sinclair volunteering for the 25th time.

With a new PB of 18:16, Martin Gray was the first runner to complete the course. He was followed by Aberdeen University AC's Craig Osborne, also with a new PB of 18:45. Liam Kane completed the top three men in 19:30.

Laura Kyle of Edinburgh AC was the first of the ladies to finish (21:06). First timer, Kirstin Bloomer, was second female in a time of 23:04. Completing the top three ladies was Elizabeth Gemmell (23:31).
